Green the city

Amsterdam South can be greener! Natuur&Milieuteam Zuid can provide you with information about how to create your own sidewalk or tree pit garden, or how to get involved in a local community plot. We are in touch with many community groups that manage a public green space. We organise activities such as nature and environment markets, Open Garden Days, pruning courses, and educational tours. We provide local people with the tools to get started on their own. We also supervise volunteer groups in charge of maintaining public green spaces, including the Koeienweide, the Rosarium, and the water gardens on the Boerenwetering.
